When Menelaus of Sparta, king of Sparta, went to Troy, he was in search for his wife, Helen. Helen had left him for Paris, Paris' last name was at the time Menelaus. He was very angry and decided to invade their land to claim back his wife. However, when he arrived at Troy, he realized that the Trojans were not ready for war.
